About the role

Drilling / Well Intervention Subsea Advisor III

We are seeking an experienced Subsea Advisor to serve as company representative for subsea drilling, completion, and well intervention operations. This role requires deep technical expertise in subsea systems, equipment interfaces, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with subsea tree, hangers, wellhead, and pressure control equipment (subsea BOPs, SSTT, CWOR, LWI) during planning and execution
  • Lead coordination of surface integrity tests (SITs), factory acceptance testing (FAT/EFAT), and equipment recertification
  • Coordinate subsea equipment and ROV aspects of risk assessments
  • Prepare brownfield survey procedures and subsea equipment deployment/retrieval procedures
  • Monitor subsea and ROV service providers; provide project management support and troubleshooting

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a closely related subsea advisory or engineering position
  • Extensive knowledge of subsea completion, workover, and light well intervention units (semi-submersibles, jack-ups, multipurpose vessels)
  • In-depth understanding of subsea systems hydraulic modeling, well surveillance, well testing, multiphase metering, and flow assurance
  • Demonstrated expertise in subsea production optimization and artificial lift systems
  • Strong organizational and technical judgment skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; ability to influence drilling workforce
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluent English (technical and business communications)
  • High ethical standards
  • Ability to work in harsh, remote environments with changing priorities
  • Willingness to travel and live away from home for extended periods
