About the role

Business Developer

Alan & Grant is seeking an Independent Business Developer to lead business growth, identify commercial opportunities, and convert high-value prospects into profitable accounts. This is a high-autonomy, execution-focused role suited for a strategic salesperson who can engage directly with corporate decision-makers, manage complex client accounts, and lead competitive tender processes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, government, and private sector markets
  • Drive direct sales of advertising solutions, including static billboards and digital screens
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and strategic partners
  • Source, analyze, and manage tender opportunities from identification to submission and follow-up
  • Develop winning proposals and partnership offers
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, pitch decks, and client-facing materials
  • Lead negotiations and close deals in line with company revenue targets
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution after deal closure
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and provide regular business development reports

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to source and close high-value deals independently
  • Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and pitching skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, or similar presentation tools
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of B2B sales cycles and enterprise account management
  • Experience in advertising, media, digital marketing, or OOH industry is an added advantage
