Accountant

Role Overview

An Accountant is needed to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in accounting processes, and support the organization's financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data for discrepancies or errors; reconcile data.
• Promote the mission, values, and vision of the organization.
• Maintain specified financial records; maintain and reconcile account ledgers; maintain and enter monthly journal entries; maintain and reconcile bank accounts.
• Enforce work output to minimize cost and maximize efficiencies while ensuring the best possible services in the market.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
• Develop a budget and perform an analysis of the organization’s financial situation.
• Ensure standards are maintained and protocols are followed.
• Prepare hospital payroll and submit all tax documents.
• Assist in developing and maintaining advanced Excel spreadsheets for various applications.
• Assess the financial impact of proposed services and programs and monitor the financial cost/benefits of existing programs and services.
• Apply basic accounting knowledge and techniques to all areas of work, including routine costing and variety analysis.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a relevant qualification with years of experience.
• Possession of ICAN, ACA would be an added advantage.

Salary

• N350,000 per month.
