About the Role

Ellasot Consulting is seeking a driven and results-oriented Marketing Officer to support business growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding client acquisition channels, and strengthening partnerships. You will play a key role in increasing sales, transaction count, and building long-term relationships with clients and corporate partners.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales of bank products
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote sales and increase daily transaction volume
  • Generate and convert leads through marketing, outreach, and networking activities
  • Identify and recruit new customers for savings, loans, and other banking products
  • Mobilize deposits from individuals, groups, and businesses
  • Generate loan leads and support the loan application process
  • Promote bank products and services through direct marketing activities
  • Organize community outreach programs, market campaigns, and promotional events
  • Develop strategies to increase brand awareness and market penetration
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment targets
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, performance, and market feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of leads and conversions using CRM tools
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information
  • Conduct follow-up visits to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to management on market development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in banking or financial services
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of microfinance products and services
  • Ability to meet targets and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong networking and customer relationship management skills
