About the Role
Ellasot Consulting is seeking a driven and results-oriented Marketing Officer to support business growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding client acquisition channels, and strengthening partnerships. You will play a key role in increasing sales, transaction count, and building long-term relationships with clients and corporate partners.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales of bank products
- Develop and implement strategies to promote sales and increase daily transaction volume
- Generate and convert leads through marketing, outreach, and networking activities
- Identify and recruit new customers for savings, loans, and other banking products
- Mobilize deposits from individuals, groups, and businesses
- Generate loan leads and support the loan application process
- Promote bank products and services through direct marketing activities
- Organize community outreach programs, market campaigns, and promotional events
- Develop strategies to increase brand awareness and market penetration
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment targets
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, performance, and market feedback
- Maintain accurate records of leads and conversions using CRM tools
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information
- Conduct follow-up visits to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Provide feedback and recommendations to management on market development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in banking or financial services
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of microfinance products and services
- Ability to meet targets and work under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong networking and customer relationship management skills
