About the role

Role Overview

Provide economic analysis and evidence to inform health programming, resource allocation, and policy recommendations for SRHIN's health interventions in slum and rural communities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analyses of SRHIN's health programmes
  • Analyse health financing mechanisms and their implications for programme sustainability
  • Develop economic models to support grant proposals and donor reporting
  • Provide technical input on resource allocation and budgeting for health interventions
  • Collaborate with the policy and research teams to translate economic findings into actionable recommendations
  • Prepare technical reports, briefs, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in health economics, health financing, or related analysis
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in relevant statistical/economic software
  • Familiarity with the Nigerian health system and donor-funded health programmes is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
