Field Sales Officer – FMCG Distribution & Customer Acquisition

NAJEC FMCG Limited is seeking a confident, energetic Field Sales Officer to help expand its customer network and strengthen product distribution across Abuja.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned markets, shops, supermarkets, and retail outlets to generate sales
• Identify and onboard new customers within assigned territory
• Maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat purchases
• Promote the company's FMCG products and identify upselling opportunities
• Take and process customer orders accurately
• Monitor competitor activities, market prices, and customer preferences
• Follow assigned daily routes and maintain consistent outlet coverage
• Follow up on customer orders, payments, and deliveries
• Submit accurate daily sales and field activity reports
• Work with sales and operations teams to achieve sales targets

Requirements

• BA/BSc/HND
• Previous experience in FMCG, field sales, distribution, or retail sales is an advantage
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills
• Confident and comfortable working in the field
• Target-driven, proactive, and self-motivated
• Good knowledge of Abuja markets and retail outlets is an advantage
• Ability to use a smartphone and basic digital apps for reporting
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
