Head of Accounts & Finance

We are seeking an experienced Head of Accounts & Finance to lead the financial operations of our organization. You will serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, overseeing financial strategy, operational performance, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial and operational strategy aligned with company growth goals
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including profit & loss, forecasts, and cash flow analysis
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and manage the month-end close process
• Manage cash flow planning, investments, and banking relationships
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Serve as key contact for external auditors and manage audit preparations
• Identify and implement financial systems and process improvements
• Manage risk assessment and internal audit programs
• Recruit and supervise finance, accounting, and payroll staff

Requirements

• Qualification: MBA/MSc
• Experience: 8+ years at senior level
• Language: English (fluent)
• Skills: Financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, general ledger management, cash flow management, ERP systems, audit coordination, team leadership, regulatory compliance
• Location: Lagos, Nigeria
• Employment Type: Full-time (8 AM – 5 PM)

Salary

NGN 900,000 – 1,200,000 per month
