We are seeking a detail-oriented News Editor & Website Publisher to edit, verify, and publish news content while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit, proofread, and publish news content.
• Verify information using credible sources.
• Manage website and CMS publishing.
• Apply sound editorial judgment and meet publishing deadlines.
• Create basic graphics using Canva or similar tools.

Requirements

• Strong written English and editing skills.
• Good news judgment and excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with website/CMS publishing.
• Understanding of African, UK, and diaspora news audiences.
• Ability to work independently and follow editorial guidance.
• 1–2 years’ relevant experience is preferred but not essential.
• Background in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, or a related field is an advantage.

Salary ₦150,000/month
