Communications Officer, Multimedia
We are seeking a dedicated Communications Officer to develop compelling multimedia content that highlights organizational work and impact. You will produce, edit, and publish high-quality visual and audio materials across various platforms while ensuring alignment with the organization's communication strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce multimedia content (photos, videos, graphics, animations) for social media, websites, campaigns, reports, and events
- Capture field footage and conduct interviews with beneficiaries, staff, and stakeholders
- Edit video and photo materials to professional standards with a strong narrative focus
- Support digital campaigns by creating engaging and relevant multimedia assets
- Contribute to visual storytelling aligned with advocacy, fundraising, and awareness goals
- Work closely with program teams to translate field activities into compelling visuals
- Train field staff on basic multimedia capture (photography and video)
- Maintain an organized digital asset library with proper metadata tagging and usage rights
- Ensure consent and copyright compliance for all materials
- Perform other related tasks
Requirements
- Proficiency in multimedia production (video and photo editing)
- Experience with digital asset management
- Strong visual storytelling and narrative skills
- Knowledge of social media content best practices
- Understanding of copyright and consent compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively with program teams
