Micro Credit Loan Officer

Regent Microfinance Bank Limited is seeking a Micro Credit Loan Officer to source and manage microcredit clients, assess loan applications, monitor repayments and maintain a healthy loan portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and onboard potential microcredit clients.
• Conduct credit appraisals and risk assessments.
• Process and maintain accurate loan documentation.
• Monitor loan utilization and follow up on repayments.
• Build strong client relationships and support customer retention.
• Work with credit and recovery teams on delinquent accounts.
• Prepare reports on loan performance and portfolio trends.
• Promote the bank’s financial products and services.

Requirements

• OND/HND/BA/BSc in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in microcredit, loan processing or related roles, preferably in a microfinance bank or financial institution.
• Good understanding of micro-lending, credit analysis and risk management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of local markets and communities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong integrity, attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Customer relationship management, sales/target orientation and analytical skills.
