Chemistry / Intermediate (Basic) Science Teacher

TAAS Group of Schools, Ibadan is seeking a qualified, experienced, and passionate Chemistry / Intermediate (Basic) Science Teacher to join their academic team.

Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry and Intermediate (Basic) Science effectively.
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and assessment materials.
• Monitor and evaluate students' academic progress.
• Maintain accurate academic records and reports.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
• Support the school's vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc. / B.Ed.) in Chemistry, Integrated Science, Science Education, or a related field.
• 4 – 7 years teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of Chemistry and Basic Science curricula.
• Ability to prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Excellent classroom management and lesson delivery skills.
• Proficiency in the use of ICT and modern teaching aids.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• TRCN certification will be an added advantage.
• Must be passionate about student development and academic excellence.

Salary

• Competitive and commensurate with qualification and experience (N70,000 - N100,000 monthly).
