Ophthalmic Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Ophthalmic Nurse to join our healthcare team. Reporting to the Head of Department, Eye Clinic, the Ophthalmic Nurse will provide quality nursing care to patients, support ophthalmic clinical services, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a safe and compassionate patient-care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients
• Support ophthalmic clinical services
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a recognized qualification in Nursing and a Post-Basic qualification in Ophthalmic Nursing or equivalent
• Valid nursing licence
• At least two years' relevant work experience
• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication, empathy and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Appropriate professional and technical training
• An attitude of service and commitment to compassionate patient care
• Desire and ability to teach and train others
• Commitment to the vision, mission and values of ECWA Hospital Egbe
