Accountant

Colossu Investments Limited, an agro commodities export company, is seeking an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of IFRS, Nigerian tax regulations, and financial reporting to manage the company's accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company's accounting operations
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations
• Prepare financial reports and perform reconciliations
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
• Maintain accurate financial records and controls

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• M.Sc, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Accountant
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and controls
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
• Understanding of budgeting, costing, cash flow, and financial planning
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements
• Integrity, confidentiality, and sound professional judgment
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Good knowledge of the monetary market
