Colossus Investment Limited is seeking a qualified Internal Auditor to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves reviewing financial processes, identifying risks, and providing insights to improve internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper reconciliation.
• Support budgeting, costing, and financial planning initiatives.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• M.Sc., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and controls.
• Understanding of budgeting, costing, cash flow, and financial planning.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
• Integrity, confidentiality, and sound professional judgment.
• Ownership, accountability, and ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Good knowledge of monetary market.
