About the role
Guest House Coordinator
Oversee catering, housekeeping, residential services, contractors, events, and HSE / quality standards across company village and guest house facilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate catering, housekeeping, reception, and residential services.
- Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with company standards and contract terms.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, meal preparation, service levels, and food safety.
- Review and approve menu proposals and monitor daily meal service records.
- Inspect materials and supplies delivered by service providers.
- Ensure guest rooms and residential apartments meet company standards.
- Coordinate events, meetings, training centre activities, and other hospitality services.
- Monitor contractor KPIs and coordinate weekly site inspections.
- Ensure timely preparation of Job Progress Certificates and follow up on vendor payments.
- Support budget projections for Guest House / Village CAPEX activities.
- Prepare reports and documentation for departmental and management meetings.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, hygiene, quality, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate receptionist activities and collate guest house reports.
- Ensure contractors participate in required HSE meetings and inspections.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in guest house, hospitality, facilities, catering, residential camp, or related operations.
- Strong knowledge of catering, housekeeping, food hygiene, and service quality.
- Experience managing contractors and service providers.
- Strong event planning and coordination skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with people from diverse nationalities and backgrounds.
- High integrity, professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong commitment to HSE, quality, and service excellence.
