About the role

Marketing Manager

Carlcare Development is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead digital marketing, brand communications, influencer partnerships, and marketing activations for a leading consumer brand in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Social Media:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, and other relevant platforms
  • Create and manage content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, and seasonal events
  • Grow online communities and improve customer engagement through relevant and localized content
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies using analytics and insights
  • Keep up with digital trends, platform updates, and emerging consumer behavior

Influencer & Creator Marketing:

  • Build and manage relationships with influencers, content creators, media personalities, and brand ambassadors
  • Plan and execute influencer campaigns from talent selection through content delivery and performance reporting
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize influencer investments
  • Maintain a strong network of partners across technology, lifestyle, entertainment, and consumer sectors

Brand Activations & Events:

  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches, experiential marketing campaigns, exhibitions, roadshows, and other brand activations
  • Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and event partners to deliver high-quality marketing activities
  • Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities that enhance brand visibility
  • Measure and report on event performance and business impact

Marketing Strategy:

  • Support the development and execution of annual marketing plans
  • Work closely with sales, product, and trade marketing teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives
  • Manage marketing budgets and agency relationships
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • 5–8 years of marketing experience, preferably within consumer electronics, FMCG, telecommunications, or fast-moving consumer industries
  • Strong experience in digital marketing, social media management, influencer marketing, and event execution
  • Good understanding of Nigerian consumer behavior and the local digital landscape
  • Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with experience using marketing and social media analytics tools
  • Willingness to travel within Nigeria when required
