About the role

We are seeking two skilled, experienced, and dependable Electrical Technicians/Foremen to oversee electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities at the project site.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
  • Lead and supervise electricians, technicians, and other site personnel.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure electrical works are carried out according to approved designs, standards, and specifications.
  • Identify electrical faults and implement appropriate corrective measures.
  • Monitor the quality and progress of electrical works and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of electrical tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain records of work completed, materials used, faults identified, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Report project progress, technical issues, and material requirements to the appropriate supervisor or project manager.
  • Perform other electrical and supervisory duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or related technical work.
  • Technical certification, Trade Test, NABTEB, OND, HND, or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
  • Proven experience supervising electrical technicians or artisans.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Good knowledge of electrical safety procedures and standards.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of working on-site.
  • Must be dependable, responsible, and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Must be available to resume in Kogi State this weekend.
