About the role

General Manager, Sales

CIG Motor Ltd seeks an experienced General Manager, Sales to lead commercial success, drive revenue growth, and oversee all sales operations including retail and fleet sales.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly and monthly reports to the Chairman detailing sales performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
  • Foster strong working relationships with sales, marketing, and other departments to capitalize on commercial opportunities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities in collaboration with teams
  • Oversee all sales activities, ensuring timely and efficient closure of retail and fleet sales
  • Establish and manage sales targets for the team, holding them accountable for results
  • Identify target accounts, create strategies for securing new business, and execute sales and marketing plans

Requirements

  • Over 15 years' experience in a multinational environment
  • Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in relevant courses or MBA
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading teams in high-pressure environments
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to build rapport, motivate, and influence others
