About the role

Business Development Lead / Sales Person

Roki Foods Ltd is seeking a highly driven Business Development Lead to expand market presence and drive sales growth across Lagos and beyond. The ideal candidate will identify new opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure products reach key retail outlets, distributors, supermarkets, and bulk buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a Lagos-focused market entry and expansion strategy
  • Identify and onboard new retail partners, distributors, and corporate clients
  • Conduct regular market visits to pitch the product, assess competition, and secure shelf placement
  • Build strong relationships with procurement managers and decision-makers in target supermarkets
  • Drive sales conversions, follow up on leads, and ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Prepare weekly reports on progress, challenges, and opportunities in the Lagos market
  • Represent the brand professionally at meetings, activations, and product demos

Requirements

  • Minimum B.Sc. qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Confidence in pitching products physically
  • Familiarity with Lagos retail clusters
  • Target-driven and proactive personality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • English language proficiency

Salary

NGN 400,000 - 600,000 per month
