Area Sales Manager - Anambra

Erisco Foods Limited is seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in Onitsha. You will drive sales growth, manage distributor relationships, and lead a high-performing team to achieve revenue and market share targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet regional targets
• Manage, mentor, and monitor sales representatives within the assigned territory
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
• Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitor activity
• Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies
• Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management
• Drive brand visibility and consumer engagement in line with the company's marketing goals

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years sales experience in FMCG, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong knowledge of the South-South market terrain
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region
