Transport Agent (Marketing Officer)

VanRentalsNG is seeking a results-driven Transport Agent (Marketing Officer) to identify new business opportunities, connect with organizations requiring haulage services, and drive revenue growth within Jos and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new customers for haulage, logistics, and transportation services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses and potential clients.
• Promote company services through visits to markets, warehouses, factories, and other business locations.
• Source transportation and haulage opportunities within Jos and neighboring areas.
• Negotiate service rates and agreements with clients.
• Monitor market activities and identify new business opportunities.
• Represent the company professionally in all client engagements.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in marketing, logistics, transportation, haulage, or sales is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the local business environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Target-driven, proactive, and confident.
• Comfortable with field marketing and client visits.
• Ability to build and maintain business relationships.
• Must have a smartphone and be comfortable using WhatsApp and social media for business development.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
