Accountant

We are looking for an experienced accountant to manage bookkeeping and ensure the maintenance of our financial data. Responsibilities include recording financial data, analyzing it, and preparing regular reports. The role also involves working with the management team to approve company expenses and ensuring accurate financial data across operational facilities.

Responsibilities

• Record financial data, analyze this data, and prepare regular reports
• Perform regular bookkeeping to ensure accounting is accurate and up-to-date
• Work with the management team to approve company expenses
• Ensure each operational facility has accurate financial data
• Input financial data using Quickbooks and other accounting software
• Relate with external auditors and tax consultants

Requirements

• First degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, or a similar financial field
• Proven work experience in accounting
• Advanced use of accounting software like QuickBooks
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Should reside near or around Ikeja
• Should be willing to work 23 days a month
• Should be able to work on some weekends and public holidays
• Should be agile, smart, and deeply analytical
