Welder

Responsible for welding and assembling metal pieces and products using handheld welding equipment. Works from specifications, drawings, and weld symbols to ensure accurate and high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all measurements and drawings are being followed.
• Sourcing the materials to be used in the project.
• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications.
• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together.
• Ensuring that management time is not wasted.
• Ensuring that his section is arranged before the closing hour.
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
• Fabricating a good job at a given time.
• Reducing errors in terms of construction.
• Meeting all daily targets.
• Ability to weld pipe.

Requirements

• Minimum of Trade Test Certificate.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• At least 3 years work experience in a similar industry.
