Software Developer & Technology Officer

PeopleOS is seeking a highly motivated Software Developer & Technology Officer to lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's technology infrastructure and digital products. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving real business problems through technology and wants to play a key role in scaling a fast-growing logistics company.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web and mobile applications
• Build internal software tools and real-time operational dashboards
• Develop rider and customer-facing applications for delivery management and shipment tracking
• Build APIs and integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms
• Develop automation solutions to reduce manual processes
• Create KPI monitoring dashboards for delivery performance, fleet management, and financial tracking
• Manage and maintain the company website, ensuring security, performance, and uptime
• Support dispatch and delivery management systems, route optimization, and tracking solutions
• Manage databases, cloud infrastructure, and system performance monitoring
• Implement security best practices and maintain data privacy standards
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and train employees on new systems
• Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Management teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• 3–5 years of proven experience in software development, including design and maintenance of web applications, dashboards, and data visualization
• Proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue.js)
• Strong backend development skills (Node.js, PHP, Python, Laravel, Django)
• Experience in mobile application development (Flutter, React Native, Android, iOS)
• Proficiency in database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Hands-on experience with API development and third-party integrations
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficiency in Git/GitHub and Business Intelligence tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Desirable Experience

• Experience in logistics, transportation, e-commerce, or technology-driven industries
• Cloud infrastructure management
• DevOps and application deployment practices
