Fine Art Teacher

TAAS College, Ibadan is seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced Fine Art Teacher to join our academic team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Fine Art lessons.
• Prepare students for academic and practical examinations.
• Organize art exhibitions, competitions, and creative projects.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide necessary support.
• Maintain records of students' performance and classroom activities.
• Contribute positively to the overall development of the school.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Ed., B.A., or B.Sc.) in Fine Arts, Creative Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• 4–7 years teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of Fine Art curriculum and practical art techniques.
• Ability to teach drawing, painting, craftwork, design, and other creative art subjects effectively.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in preparing lesson plans, assessments, and students for internal and external examinations.
• Must be passionate about nurturing creativity and artistic talent in students.
• TRCN certification will be an added advantage.
• Applicants must reside in Ibadan or be willing to relocate to a location close to the school.
