About the role
We are looking for a driven and persuasive Business Development Representative to help grow our platform by acquiring new employer clients and encouraging them to post their job openings on Aremu AI. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential employer partners, responsible for generating leads, building relationships, and converting prospects into active users of the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and reach out to potential employer clients through calls, emails, and other outreach channels
- Pitch the value of Aremu AI to hiring managers, HR professionals, and business owners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing employer accounts
- Follow up consistently with prospects to move them through the sales pipeline
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for employer sign-ups and job postings
- Provide feedback from employers to internal teams to help improve the platform
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related client-facing role
- Proven ability to prospect, pitch, and close deals with business clients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term professional relationships
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working on-site and engaging with a variety of industries and business types
