Cost Accountant (FMCG)

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to manage production costing, inventory valuation, cost analysis, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse actual and standard production costs.
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate cost discrepancies.
• Monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished goods valuation.
• Develop and maintain BOM-based costing.
• Prepare monthly cost and profitability reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ICAN, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5–8 years of relevant cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation, BOM costing, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage.
