Relationship Manager (Corporate Banking)

Role Overview

The Relationship Manager (Corporate Banking) is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients, driving business development, and delivering tailored banking solutions that meet client needs while contributing to the Bank's revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate banking clients
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target sectors
• Structure and deliver credit, trade finance, and other banking solutions
• Conduct financial and credit analysis to support lending decisions
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Ensure compliance with the Bank's risk and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with product and risk teams to deliver seamless client service

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA/professional certification is a plus)
• Minimum of 4–7 years' experience in corporate/commercial banking relationship management
• Strong credit analysis and financial modeling skills
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills
• Sound understanding of the Nigerian banking/regulatory environment
• Self-driven and target-oriented
