Shift Mechanical Engineer

Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machines through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and efficient utility operations. The role involves monitoring documentation, evaluating machine failures, and providing technical suggestions for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all preventive and scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and utility operations are carried out smoothly for 100% machine availability.
• Monitor logbooks, checklists, ISO documentation, and SAP.
• Conduct evaluation of machine failure and root cause analysis.
• Establish rhythm for departmental reporting and discipline.
• Ensure allotted jobs are completed within time limits with safety precautions.
• Job allotment for team and collaboration with team.
• Propose cost-saving and technical suggestions for machine performance improvement.
• Ensure energy-efficient operation and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing/process industry.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Sound experience in mechanical rotary and static equipment.
• Good operational experience in utility and ETP plants.
