Chief Financial Officer

Forthworth Farms is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies
• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and cost control measures
• Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities
• Provide strategic financial advice to management for decision-making
• Implement and improve financial systems, controls, and processes
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) required or strongly preferred
• Minimum 5–6 years proven experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary

NGN 400,000 - 600,000 per month
