Microbiology Lab Analyst

Role Overview

A leading agro-allied company is seeking a qualified Microbiology Lab Analyst to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance through microbiological testing of products, raw materials, water, and environmental samples.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, water, environmental samples, and finished products.
• Support environmental monitoring and laboratory compliance activities.
• Maintain laboratory records, equipment, and documentation in line with GMP standards.
• Ensure laboratory SOPs are current and accessible.
• Perform microbiological method validation and qualification.
• Monitor regulatory updates and provide guidance on microbiological issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product quality and development initiatives.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in microbiological testing techniques and laboratory equipment.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
