Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will drive enterprise-wide technology strategy, lead digital transformation initiatives, and oversee the development and scaling of innovative banking and financial technology solutions across the group's subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the group's technology and digital transformation strategy.
• Lead the design, development, and scaling of digital banking and fintech platforms.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevOps, API ecosystems, and core banking integrations.
• Drive innovation, operational efficiency, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering and technology teams.
• Ensure technology solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Champion the adoption of emerging technologies to support business growth.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in software engineering or technology leadership.
• At least 4 years in a senior technology leadership, architecture, or CTO-level role within fintech, digital banking, or e-banking.
• Proven track record of building and launching banking or fintech applications from inception.
• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevOps, APIs, and core banking systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation initiatives and engineering teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master's Degree or MBA is an added advantage.
