Senior Systems Developer – Christian Aid

Join Christian Aid as a Senior Systems Developer and lead the design and delivery of solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics platform. You'll be a hands-on senior contributor, technical authority within the ICT team, and trusted advisor on CRM capabilities and strategic enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain application and data integrations across Christian Aid's systems using Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, Power Automate, SSIS, APIs)
• Maintain and improve application and integration architecture, identifying automation and reliability opportunities
• Establish and apply standardized best practices for system and data integration
• Monitor integration processes, handle errors and job failures, and implement preventative improvements
• Investigate system and data issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement mitigating actions
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to resolve issues and deliver high-quality outcomes
• Provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues and project teams
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and support handover into live service

Requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft Dynamics and the Power Platform
• Relevant professional qualification
• Strong expertise in Dynamics customization and extension, data modelling, integrations, APIs, and SQL Server
• Solid experience with modern software engineering practices (source control, automated testing, code review, CI/CD)
• Ability to own complex work in resource-constrained environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Understanding of long-term impact of technical decisions; balance pragmatism with sound design

Preferred:

• Microsoft certifications
• Experience in not-for-profit or mission-driven organizations
• Familiarity with Azure or similar cloud platforms
