Head of Operations

Lead Feed Avenue’s operations, including warehouse, logistics, fleet, stock management and the transition to local animal feed production. Ensure operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and the successful setup of local production.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse, stock, logistics, fleet and delivery operations.
• Drive inventory accuracy, cost control and operational efficiency.
• Lead local production setup, plant commissioning and production activities.
• Manage transporters, vendors and operational teams.
• Implement SOPs, KPIs, safety, quality and compliance systems.
• Lead and develop operations staff while ensuring timely execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Agribusiness, Food Science/Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in animal feed production is required.
• 8–10+ years’ experience in operations, logistics, warehousing and/or production, with senior management experience.
• Experience in animal feed, agro-processing, milling, FMCG, food manufacturing or agribusiness preferred.
• Experience with Nigerian logistics, production start-up and team management.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, 5S, FIFO/FEFO, cost control and ERP systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
