About the role
Medical Sales Representative
We are seeking a motivated and energetic medical sales representative to drive the growth of our HealthTech and medical solutions business in Lagos. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare-related sales who are eager to build a career in the HealthTech industry.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Promote and sell digital health solutions to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare professionals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Support achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for healthcare stakeholders
- Follow up on leads and maintain active engagement with prospective customers
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, procurement officers, hospital administrators, and other healthcare decision-makers
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Maintain regular visits to healthcare facilities within assigned areas
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback
- Provide market insights and field updates to sales management
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates using CRM tools
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and healthcare industry regulations
- Prepare weekly activity reports and sales performance updates
- Support implementation of marketing campaigns and product awareness initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, life sciences, pharmacy, biomedical engineering, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or HealthTech sales
- Basic understanding of healthcare sales processes and customer engagement
- Experience interacting with hospitals or healthcare professionals (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales and negotiation abilities
- Relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Good presentation and product demonstration skills
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Salary
NGN 150,000 – 250,000 monthly
