Sales Manager – Watu Credit Limited
Lead a dynamic sales team at a revolutionary fintech company, driving business growth and shaping the future of financial inclusion in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization's sales strategy aligned with Watu's mission
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales executives to exceed targets
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop and manage sales forecasts and pipelines through the sales team
- Ensure weekly reporting of sales trends and forecasts
- Collaborate with marketing teams to penetrate key markets
- Develop strategies for net new business and account creation
- Implement and manage CRM tools for customer retention
- Recommend pricing structure changes based on market trends
- Establish sales territories and quotas; evaluate regional and local sales manager performance
- Regularly review sales performance through team evaluations and coaching
- Deepen customer relationships by understanding financial needs and offering tailored solutions
- Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance product offerings
- Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions and optimize processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Business Administration (preferred)
- 3+ years of direct sales experience
- Technical understanding of CRM systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven experience managing and motivating high-performing sales teams
- Exceptional customer relationship skills
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
