Sales Manager – Watu Credit Limited

Lead a dynamic sales team at a revolutionary fintech company, driving business growth and shaping the future of financial inclusion in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the organization's sales strategy aligned with Watu's mission
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales executives to exceed targets
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts and pipelines through the sales team
  • Ensure weekly reporting of sales trends and forecasts
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to penetrate key markets
  • Develop strategies for net new business and account creation
  • Implement and manage CRM tools for customer retention
  • Recommend pricing structure changes based on market trends
  • Establish sales territories and quotas; evaluate regional and local sales manager performance
  • Regularly review sales performance through team evaluations and coaching
  • Deepen customer relationships by understanding financial needs and offering tailored solutions
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance product offerings
  • Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions and optimize processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Business Administration (preferred)
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience
  • Technical understanding of CRM systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven experience managing and motivating high-performing sales teams
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
