Role Overview

Animalz is seeking a freelance developmental content editor to review B2B SaaS content written by in-house and freelance writers. The role involves editing long-form content, ensuring it aligns with client goals, and delivering actionable feedback to writers.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit B2B SaaS content for SEO/AEO/GEO, thought leadership, and other formats.
• Provide actionable feedback on content, balancing line-level edits with big-picture guidance.
• Work closely with writers to ensure content meets quality standards and client objectives.
• Develop familiarity with specific clients' businesses and brand strategies.

Requirements

• Experience writing and editing diverse forms of content for B2B tech, especially long-form content.
• Working knowledge of SEO and AEO/GEO best practices.
• Ability to deliver actionable feedback with clear reasoning.
• Ability to quickly understand new industries, companies, and products.
• Knowledge of and interest in the B2B tech industry and content marketing trends.
• Availability of 5–10 hours per week.

Salary $65/hour
