Field Sales Manager - Kogi

Nestle Foods is seeking a Field Sales Manager to lead sales operations, merchandising, and distributor management in assigned territories to drive sales, profit, and volume objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor territory sales strategies and merchandising guidelines to ensure product availability, visibility, and accessibility in priority outlets
  • Establish coverage plans, route plans, and journey plans for distributors, ensuring compliance with field sales plans
  • Coach, motivate, and develop sales teams through regular field accompaniment and identification of training needs
  • Communicate cycle objectives and merchandising priorities to field sales force and manage retailer-wholesaler relationships
  • Provide timely market intelligence, demand forecasts, competitor activity reports, and out-of-stock communications
  • Execute BSO objectives and achieve Picture-of-Success targets in assigned territory
  • Deploy and optimize Optimetriks for outlet visibility and superiority
  • Coordinate distributor operations review processes
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, WHO Code, and safety guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (minimum)
  • 2–4 years of field sales experience in the FMCG sector
  • Sound knowledge of the Food and Beverage industry, sales functions, and core business processes
  • Market intelligence expertise in distributor channels and retail outlets
  • Basic knowledge of Integrated Business Planning processes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence people
  • High integrity, strong work ethics, and self-motivation
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Proactive, creative, and initiative-taking mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
