National Sales Manager – Recare

Lead national sales strategy and drive revenue growth across FMCG distribution channels in Nigeria. This executive role requires managing regional teams, key distributor relationships, and market expansion across major cities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute national sales plans to achieve revenue, volume, and margin targets
• Forecast demand and set quarterly/annual KPIs with performance tracking
• Train, coach, and manage regional sales managers, supervisors, and field representatives
• Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, modern trade, and e-commerce partners
• Expand market coverage in priority regions: Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, and emerging trade channels
• Collaborate with marketing on in-store visibility, merchandising, and promotional compliance
• Monitor competitor activity on pricing, product launches, and shelf share
• Provide weekly/monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, and market insights to management
• Ensure compliance with NAFDAC guidelines and company SOPs

Requirements

• Education: BSc/HND in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
• Experience: 10+ years in FMCG sales with 5+ years in a national or regional manager role
• Preferred Background: Beauty, hair care, or personal hygiene sector experience
• Track Record: Proven success growing distribution and managing ₦1B+ annual sales portfolios
• Key Skills: Strong negotiation, distributor management, data analysis, team leadership
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency and CRM tools experience
• Language: Excellent command of English
• Location: Must be based in Lagos
