Research Assistant

Marv Consult is an academic research, executive documentation, and career advancement consultancy. We are looking for a detail-oriented, research-savvy Research & Assessment Writing Intern to join our team on a 3-month fixed retainer contract.

Responsibilities

• Draft and execute up to 10 academic assessments and research deliverables per month based on provided client briefs.
• Conduct thorough, publication-grade academic and secondary literature research.
• Adhere strictly to formatting guidelines, citation standards (APA, Harvard, IEEE, etc.), and intake instructions.
• Run self-checks using plagiarism (<5%) and AI-detection tools prior to submission.
• Revise and refine drafts based on feedback from our editorial review team.

Requirements

• Strong academic writing, critical thinking, and research skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a postgraduate degree (Political Science, Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, or related fields preferred).
• Familiarity with academic citation styles and databases.
• Access to a reliable laptop, internet connection, and tools like Google Docs and Grammarly.
• Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and following detailed instructions.

Salary

• ₦120,000 / month
