Senior Business Analyst

Sage Grey Finance Limited is seeking a Senior Business Analyst responsible for end-to-end technical analysis, systems design support, and coordination of software lifecycle activities. This role bridges functional business needs and technical implementation through requirements engineering, process modeling, API documentation, and testing coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical stakeholder sessions to gather and document requirements
• Define system-level specifications (user stories, sequence diagrams, data dictionaries)
• Lead a cross-functional team of analysts, designers, and engineers
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects on technical scope
• Maintain and update system design documentation across sprints/releases
• Define data schemas, interface definitions, and API endpoint documentation
• Coordinate integration flows and authentication protocols with developers and third parties
• Model current and future state business processes using BPMN/UML
• Recommend system enhancements based on gap analysis
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for proposed changes
• Assess system impacts from architecture or data structure changes
• Support DevOps and QA with test environment and deployment coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Solution Analyst, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• CBAP certification is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, system architecture, API standards (REST, JSON, XML, OAuth2), and database concepts
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring is a plus
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Draw.io/Lucidchart, Figma, Git, Jira, Confluence
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
