Accountant

HT-Limited is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage the company's financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The role involves reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and handling tax obligations.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Completing analysis of employee expenditures
• Managing income and expenditure accounts
• Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
• Filing and remitting taxes and other regulatory obligations
• Working with the financial and accounting software used by the company

Requirements

• Experience with accounting software and data entry
• Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including GAAP and IFRS standards relevant to the agriculture industry
• Advanced knowledge and experience of spreadsheets
• Ability to work independently
• Analytical skills
• Proficiency in Tally, SAGE ERP and/or other accounting packages. Proficiency in Excel
• 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting
• B.Sc/HND in Accounting
• Must be a certified chartered accountant (Associate of ICAN or ACCA)
