Accountant

Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, recording and monitoring daily transactions, preparing payment vouchers, invoices, and financial reports, performing bank and account reconciliations, and supporting audit and statutory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record and monitor daily financial transactions.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and financial reports.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor income, expenses, and other financial activities.
• Assist with payroll and other accounting-related processes.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Support audit and statutory compliance requirements.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• ICAN/ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
