Head of Design

FairMoney is seeking an experienced Head of Design to lead design strategy and vision across product and brand. This hybrid role in Lagos is ideal for a design leader with a proven track record in digital-first companies and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams in creating exceptional product experiences and brand storytelling
• Lead creative campaigns and build memorable customer experiences across digital channels
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders and align Product, Marketing, and Engineering around a shared vision
• Establish and maintain design systems, drive user research, and implement experimentation frameworks
• Operate strategically in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve quickly

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI, Brand Design, or Creative Direction
• Proven experience leading design teams in digital-first companies, mobile-first products, startups, or design agencies
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in both product experience and brand storytelling
• Outstanding UX and UI judgment with ability to connect design decisions to customer behavior and business outcomes
• Strong understanding of design systems, user research, and experimentation
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving environments
