About the role
Agricultural Equipment Sales Executive
Afrimash is seeking a commercially minded Agricultural Engineer to drive sales of farm equipment, build strong customer relationships, and accelerate business growth across Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets through effective business development
- Generate new business via prospecting, follow-ups, and customer engagement
- Advise customers on selecting appropriate farm equipment based on operational needs
- Build and maintain key customer accounts and long-term relationships
- Support farmers, agribusinesses, cooperatives, and agricultural institutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or related discipline
- 2–4 years' experience in equipment sales, business development, key account management, or customer-facing commercial roles
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong understanding of agricultural equipment and mechanization
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to identify customer needs and match them with appropriate solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with farmers, agribusinesses, cooperatives, or agricultural institutions
