About the role

Agricultural Equipment Sales Executive

Afrimash is seeking a commercially minded Agricultural Engineer to drive sales of farm equipment, build strong customer relationships, and accelerate business growth across Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales targets through effective business development
  • Generate new business via prospecting, follow-ups, and customer engagement
  • Advise customers on selecting appropriate farm equipment based on operational needs
  • Build and maintain key customer accounts and long-term relationships
  • Support farmers, agribusinesses, cooperatives, and agricultural institutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or related discipline
  • 2–4 years' experience in equipment sales, business development, key account management, or customer-facing commercial roles
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Strong understanding of agricultural equipment and mechanization
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to identify customer needs and match them with appropriate solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with farmers, agribusinesses, cooperatives, or agricultural institutions
