Factory Driver

Palmora Nigeria Limited, a plastic recycling factory, is seeking a reliable and experienced Factory Driver to safely and efficiently transport raw materials, finished products, equipment, personnel, and other company materials between the factory, suppliers, collection points, customers, and other designated locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport plastic waste, recyclable materials, finished products, equipment, and other company materials.
• Ensure materials and goods are properly loaded, secured, and delivered to the correct locations.
• Assist with loading and offloading where required.
• Maintain accurate trip sheets, delivery records, fuel records, mileage, and vehicle logbooks.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report faults or mechanical issues.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Obtain and submit delivery notes, waybills, and other required documentation.
• Comply with all road traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Support Logistics, Procurement, Maintenance, Production, and other teams with transportation-related activities.
• Report accidents, damages, shortages, delivery issues, or other discrepancies immediately.
• Perform approved local and interstate trips when required.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC; OND is an added advantage.
• Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Minimum of 3 years’ professional driving experience.
• Experience driving trucks, vans, pickups, or other commercial/company vehicles is an advantage.
• Experience in a manufacturing, recycling, logistics, FMCG, or industrial environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Lagos, Ogun State, and surrounding industrial areas.
• Basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to use GPS/navigation applications.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading/offloading.
• Responsible, punctual, trustworthy, and safety-conscious.
• Willingness to work flexible or extended hours when operationally required.

Salary

• ₦150,000 Monthly
