Role Overview
Wild Fusion Digital Centre (WDC) is seeking a Finance Manager to own day-to-day financial operations, working capital management, client and campaign profitability analysis, and regulatory compliance. This role is critical to driving cash flow agility, disciplined budget control, and flawless tax compliance across all digital campaigns, technology implementations, and corporate entities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, revenue assurance, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
- Ensure real-time posting and billing accuracy across client retainers, ad-spend budgets, media buying costs, and technical project scopes.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close, preparing full financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Nigerian GAAP.
- Manage payroll processing, statutory deductions, and vendor payout schedules.
- Drive assertive accounts receivable management, build 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Resolve billing disputes, negotiate client credit terms, and recover overdue accounts.
- Partner with Account Managers and Project Directors to evaluate real-time campaign- and client-level profit margins.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing budgeted vs. actual project costs and deliver commercial recommendations.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, track and manage recovery of Withholding Tax (WHT) credit notes, and represent the agency during tax audits.
- Maintain rigorous internal controls, conduct reconciliations, safeguard financial assets, and maintain complete digital audit trails for all transactions.
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. ICAN, ACA, or ACCA certification required.
- 6–10 years post-qualification accounting/finance experience, including 3+ years as a Finance Manager or Lead Operational Accountant. Digital agency, media, tech, or professional services background strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in cloud accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, Sage, Zoho Books, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling).
- Deep, practical mastery of Nigerian tax law: FIRS TaxPro-Max, LIRS filings, WHT recovery workflows, and statutory compliance.
- Proven track record operating in fast-moving, high-pressure environments while maintaining accuracy under deadline pressure.
- Strong ability to present financial metrics to non-finance stakeholders and maintain firm control over agency cash flow.
