Product Marketing Associate

Bumpa is hiring a Product Marketing Associate to shape how businesses adopt Bumpa's suite of business solutions. This role sits at the intersection of data, user behavior, product, marketing, and growth—driving activation and conversion efforts for SMEs across Africa.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches
• Implement and maintain lifecycle product flows for user activation and retention
• Improve product education across multiple communication channels
• Conduct product research through user feedback calls and market discovery
• Create copy and design direction for product and marketing landing pages
• Develop marketing campaigns and loops to drive adoption and retention
• Identify product gaps and revenue opportunities, then create strategies to address them
• Track performance of product and marketing efforts; provide improvement strategies
• Contribute to brand positioning initiatives
• Initiate and maintain strategic partnerships aligned with product goals

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Product Marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or tech
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience creating lifecycle workflows and campaigns
• Track record of driving product growth
• Expertise in copywriting, campaign ideation, execution, and landing page optimization
• Strong understanding of content and product distribution strategies
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented; ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Knowledge of using AI to improve product processes or results

Nice to Have

• Experience with CRM and analytics tools (Customer.io, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, PostHog, Google Analytics)
• High creativity and strong ownership of retention and conversion pipelines
