Tax Due Diligence Consultant
Assess tax compliance, tax exposures, historical tax liabilities, and tax optimization opportunities within the company.
Responsibilities
- Review Corporate Income Tax filings.
- Review Petroleum Industry fiscal obligations.
- Review VAT compliance.
- Review PAYE compliance.
- Review Withholding Tax compliance.
- Identify historical tax exposures. Review unresolved tax disputes.
- Assess penalties and interest risks.
- Review transfer pricing arrangements.
- Identify tax savings opportunities.
- Assess tax efficiency of current structure. Develop restructuring tax considerations.
- Review interactions with tax authorities. Assess adequacy of tax documentation.
- Review prior tax audits and assessments.
Requirements
- Chartered Tax Practitioner.
- Professional membership of CITN or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years tax advisory experience.
- Strong oil and gas taxation expertise.
