About the role
Procurement Manager
Obasanjo Farms NG is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to develop and execute procurement strategies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Create long-term supply purchase strategies aligned with company needs
- Establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
- Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and procurement data
- Review and analyze vendor, supply, and pricing options
- Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
- Negotiate competitive pricing and supply contracts
- Ensure high quality of products and supplies
- Maintain and update supplier lists with qualifications, delivery times, and development potential
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned duties
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and systems
- 3–5 years' experience as a Procurement Manager
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Navision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
- Integrity and ability to maintain confidential records
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively with management and staff at all levels
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
Salary
₦400,000 – ₦500,000/month
